Golden hour on the river trail
August evenings, Schuylkill River Trail, heading west out of the borough. The light gets ridiculous around 7:40pm. Bring nothing. Expect everything.
Walk
Schuylkill River Trail
Our boardwalk. Runs right along the river with the borough at your back. Flatter and greener than any beach walk, and zero seagulls fighting you for fries.
Eat
Fayette Street, generally
The main drag. Start at the bottom of the hill and work your way up — pizza, tacos, bar food that outranks its category. Repeat until fully summered.
Drink
A deck. Any deck.
Conshy's per-capita bar-deck density is, unofficially, nation-leading. Golden rule: if you can see the river, you're doing it right.
View
The bridge at dusk
The Matsonford Bridge does things at sunset that Malibu wishes it could. Photograph it. Send the postcard.
Event
The fall street festival
Come autumn, Fayette Street closes and the whole borough shows up. Look for us. We'll be the ones in the shirts.
Secret
The quiet end of the trail
Everyone walks west. Walk east. That's it, that's the secret.
